The Disruptive Data Leadership Summit is a 3-day virtual event that will help data leaders and their teams develop the strategic mindset and practical skills needed to drive transformative change in their organizations.

How it will work

SUMMIT MISSION

Unlike most data conferences that focus primarily on technical skills, our summit is designed to help data leaders become an exceptional, disruptive leader in the data industry. We address the real-world challenges of bridging technical expertise with business impact, offering practical strategies for:

  1. Developing a strategic mindset
  2. Enhancing leadership and communication skills
  3. Driving transformative change in your organization
  4. Nurturing the people in their data teams
  5. Integrating ethical AI practices

Our mission is to empower both data leaders and their teams, fostering inclusive growth and innovation. We’re committed to proactively spotlighting diverse voices through our carefully selected speaker lineup.

WHEN

The Disruptive Data Leadership Summit will run from May 5-7th, 2025. 

THE PRESENTATION

Presentations will include 20 minutes of content (with up to a 3-minute resource pitch). Each presentation will be pre-recorded and include actionable strategies, frameworks, or methodologies that attendees can implement immediately.

NETWORKING

Along with the presentations, there will be a private community platform for attendees to network, share insights, and ask questions. If you’re feeling motivated to engage with attendees, you are welcome to host a brief live Q&A session to provide even more value.

PROMOTION

Leading up to the summit, we’ll have 3 weeks of promotion. You’ll be provided with email swipe copy, social media swipe copy, and social media graphics to make it all easy! We’ll provide a suggested posting/sending schedule for easy delegation to your team.

ALL-ACCESS PASS

During the promotion phase, summit runtime, and one week after, we’ll promote the All-Access Pass. This includes lifetime access to presentation recordings, bonus resources from speakers, exclusive worksheets, and implementation guides. This provides value to attendees while making your participation worthwhile through affiliate commissions and list growth.

What I'll ask of you

So this all sounds great, but what kind of work does it require of you? Let’s talk about it!

1. Basic Information

We’ll need your basic information for our registration and Speakers page. Once you confirm participation, you’ll receive a link to submit this information easily.

2. Presentation

Your 20-minute pre-recorded presentation should be engaging and value-focused. We want attendees to gain actionable insights while enjoying the learning process.

Presentation formats available:

  • Slides with voiceover
  • Video presentation
  • Hybrid (slides + video)
  • Interview-style (by request)

Suggested presentation structure:

  • Introduce the topic, ideally with a hook to capture their attention! 
  • Introduce yourself
  • Common challenges and misconceptions
  • Core teaching section
  • Actionable steps and implementation guide
  • Optional resource pitch (up to 3 min)

3. Promotion

As a speaker, we humbly request you to promote the summit to your audience. To help you, you’ll receive:

  • Ready-to-use email templates
  • Social media copy and graphics
  • Suggested promotion schedule
  • Your unique affiliate link for tracking

All promotional materials will be provided in advance through the Resource Vault.

4. All-Access Pass Contribution

To enhance the All-Access Pass value, speakers are encouraged (not required) to contribute one premium resource:

  • Templates or frameworks
  • Workbooks or guides
  • Mini-courses
  • Digital tools or resources
  • Implementation roadmaps

Contributors receive 40% affiliate commission (vs standard 30%).

But hey, this wouldn’t be any fun if there wasn’t anything in it for you, so here are some of the benefits:

  • Grow your email list by pitching a freebie or some downloadable at the end of your presentation.
  • Grow your email list even more by contributing a bonus to the All-Access Pass
  • There will be a 40% affiliate commission for the All-Access Pass
  • Speaking of which, we’ll be giving you a free upgrade to the All-Access Pass
  • Your presentation will be pre-recorded to make summit week stress-free
  • You’re welcome to reuse your presentation afterward for anything you’d like

Affiliate Details

While summits are great for overall visibility and making new connections, a little extra income never hurts either, right?

That’s exactly why I’ve set up an affiliate program for the All-Access Pass where you’ll receive a commission every time someone uses your link to register for free and then upgrade to the All-Access Pass.

Commission structure:

  • 30% for all speakers
  • 40% for speakers contributing All-Access Pass bonuses

Pricing tiers for the All-Access Pass:

  • $97 Early Bird (48 hours post-registration)
  • $147 Regular (until summit end)

Payouts will be made at the end of May.

Remember to grab your to do list and get things added to your calendar. Because if you’re like me, if it’s not in your calendar it doesn’t exist.

  • Summit dates: May 5-7th, 2025
